Copaiba – a natural anti-inflammatory & care elixir for your skin & well-being.
Copaiba is a bioactive oil that has been used by the indigenous people of the Amazon for centuries in traditional medicine. It is known for its immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. Copaiba interacts with the body's own receptors, supports the self-healing powers of the skin and immune system and reduces cellular micro-inflammations. These inflammations are one of the main causes of skin problems, unwanted immune reactions, premature cell aging and loss of elasticity.
Copaiba is often referred to as the "nectar of the gods" - and not without reason. It has a unique bioresonance that makes it one of the most valuable natural remedies in the Amazon. Many users report positive results in treating skin and health problems where conventional solutions often fail. By interacting with cellular receptors, Copaiba promotes cell resistance and stimulates the body's own healing mechanisms.
True Copaiba is extracted directly from the tree and remains natural, unlike many essential oils that are altered by distillation. Full spectrum Copaiba contains a variety of active ingredients, including 72% beta-caryophyllene (BCP). These substances are lost during the distillation of Copaiba essential oil, preventing the entourage effect (the synergistic interaction of the ingredients). Full spectrum Copaiba is therefore much more potent than the commonly sold essential oil.
The entourage effect is the phenomenon in which the different components of a plant (such as cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids) work together and amplify their effects to produce a more potent, synergistic result. This effect is an important aspect of creating full-spectrum products, which retain all of a plant's natural ingredients rather than extracting individual isolated components. The entourage effect is considered one reason why full-spectrum products are often perceived as more effective than isolated ingredients.
Copaiba is the best known natural source of beta-caryophyllene (BCP), a phytocannabinoid that interacts with the CB2 receptors of the endocannabinoid system. CB2 receptors help control inflammatory responses in the skin. One of the most important functions of the ECS (endocannabinoid system) in the skin is to modulate inflammation. CB2 receptors also play a role in cellular protection and regeneration of the skin barrier. They can help protect skin cells from damaging influences and promote the healing of skin tissue. This is especially important for injured skin or sunburn. relevant because the endocannabinoid system supports the healing of skin cells.
For comparison, CBD oil only contains about 30,000 ppm BCP, while Copaiba reaches up to 480,000 ppm. This makes it an extremely potent active ingredient.
Copaiba has a natural, resinous, warm, balsamic, pleasant scent created by sesquiterpenes such as beta-caryophyllene. These terpenes are known for their calming and relaxing effects. Unlike many synthetic fragrances, the scent of Copaiba is completely natural & harmonious, making it a good choice for people with sensitive skin or allergies.
Possible applications:
- Protecting skin cells and promoting regeneration
- reduction of inflammation and stress symptoms
- Improvement of the skin barrier, especially in case of sunburn
- Supports cell health and antioxidant effects to protect against skin aging
CB2 receptors and their effects
The beta-caryophyllene (cannabinoid) contained in copaiba interacts with the CB2 receptors that are found in the skin, immune cells and nervous system. These receptors have an anti-inflammatory function and promote the formation of the body's own messenger substances such as hormones and neurotransmitters. This can have positive effects on sleep, well-being and the immune system.
How is Copaiba produced?
Copaiba oil is not processed, heated and does not require pressing, as it is extracted directly from the tree as resin oil and pure substance. The process of extracting the oil-resin mixture is still rudimentary. A hand drill is used to drill an opening into the middle of the tree, with the opening being 60 to 70 centimeters above the ground. Immediately afterwards, a pipe is attached below the opening so that the oil-resin mixture can drip into a container on the ground. The oil-resin mixture is allowed to drip for a few days and after the harvest is complete, the opening is sealed with clay to prevent the tree from being attacked by fungi and termites.
This gentle harvesting process has the advantage that the tree is not damaged and can continue to produce valuable yields in the following years. The sustainable extraction of Copaiba oil is an example of the close connection between traditional knowledge and environmentally conscious use of resources. In addition, this method of harvesting ensures the continued existence of the trees and contributes to the preservation of the Amazon rainforest, as the trees do not have to be felled. In this way, the local communities receive a valuable income without permanently damaging nature.
Pure, Fresh & Wild.
We only use the highest quality, natural Copaiba. The full spectrum Copaiba we offer is not distilled or thermally treated, as these processes would destroy the therapeutic properties. Our Copaiba oil is suitable for both internal and external use and offers you the full power of nature to sustainably support your skin and health.
Copaiba has its own unique effect and bioresonance, making it one of the most valuable treasures of the Amazon. Many users report success in treating difficult problems for which we have no clear explanation even after years of research. But the fact is that Copaiba sets processes in motion that ultimately make the cells more resilient and support the body's self-regulation processes.
